Owen joined the Chamber in 2019 as its executive director after serving in leadership positions in government affairs and higher education. Owen has been one of Lander’s two appointees to the Wind River Visitors Council, Fremont County’s lodging tax board, since October 2019 and has been serving as the board’s Chairman since July 2023. He is a former board member of the Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce. Owen earned his Institute for Organization (IOM) certification from the United States Chamber of Commerce in January 2024.

Carol began her career as Associate Director of the Lander Chamber of Commerce in 2008. She worked previously in real estate and print media. 

PROGRAM & EVENT COORDINATOR

Meghan Manning

Meghan joined the Lander Chamber of Commerce in November 2023. She was a long-time business owner and personal trainer in Monroe, WA, where she served on the staff, and eventually became a board member, of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.

GRAPHIC DESIGN & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Caeli is a homeschooled high school  student with a natural talent for writing and graphic design. She is responsible for the Chamber’s monthly newsletter, weekly eNewsletter, and social media accounts. Caeli also keeps travel and tourism materials updated and stocked in the Lander Visitor Center.

Destination Lander Committee

  • Purpose: Develop Lander as destination, increase visitation and spending, and develop local tourism assets and attractions. Awards Tourism Asset Development (TAD) Grants on behalf of the City of Lander and in partnership with the Wind River Visitors Council.

Business Retention and Expansion Committee

  • Purpose: Provide tools and resources for business to stay in Lander area, grow, and thrive. Also houses membership projects and industry sector meetings.

    Government Affairs and Advocacy

    • To monitor, analyze, and prioritize public policy issues which impact chamber members and the greater business community.
