Bunk’s BBQ is a local, family-owned business founded in 2017 by James & Brigett Bunker. Bunk’s began as a food truck that also offered catering services. Going strong in July of 2018, James & Brigett suffered a devastating fire and lost their food trailer.
Encouraged by their amazing community, they not only rebuilt their food truck in 2019, they also build a restaurant! Located in Riverton at 201 E Washington Avenue, the restaurant is open Wed-Thurs-Friday 11:00am – 8:30pm and Saturday 4:30-8:30pm. Bunk’s continues to offer catering for events on-site and off, and they also run their food truck at local community events. (Like Lander Brewfest!!)
On the personal side, James & Brigett are the proud parents of twin 13-year-old boys and a 1-year-old little girl! Between the restaurant, food truck, kiddos, and little animal rescue (3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses, and little black angus herd, the Bunkers stay very busy, and love every minute of it! “We truly want to thank everyone who has supported us, our dream, and our journey over the last five years. Aware of their blessings, James & Brigett give back as much they can to the community, including sourcing many of their ingredients from local farmers and ranchers.
