About Benessere Clinic
As Wyoming natives and long-term Fremont County residents, Dr. Anthony Lowham and Sandee Lewis DNP, understand the healthcare needs of our community firsthand. After many years as healthcare providers, they recognized that many of their patients were struggling with issues that went beyond traditional surgical and medical care — fatigue, hormonal imbalance, weight gain, and a general decline in quality of life. That recognition inspired a new direction.
Over the last decade, Dr. Lowham and Sandee Lewis DNP have developed a deep expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for both men and women. Together, they founded Benessere Clinic — benessere being the Italian word for “wellbeing” — with locations in Lander and Riverton, WY. The clinic’s name reflects its mission: to help patients achieve whole-body health and lasting vitality.
Established in 2017, Benessere Clinic is a privately owned practice serving Lander, Riverton, and surrounding communities. Care extends well beyond hormone therapy — the team offers personalized nutrition guidance, fitness recommendations, medical weight loss therapy, and a full range of aesthetic services, all tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Why did you choose Lander, and what do you enjoy most about operating a business here? Lander has always had a special place in our hearts — its natural beauty, strong community connections, and small-town warmth make it a truly special place to work and serve. We love the continued support for the arts and the creative events that keep the community spirit alive. Our favorite thing about having a business here is the relationships — serving people we know, meeting new clients along the way, and building lasting friendships that go far beyond the clinic walls.
What’s something people may not know about your team or workplace culture? We truly listen to our patients. How does your business engage with or give back to the community? Giving back is at the heart of what we do. We donate to various fundraising events throughout the year, supporting important causes across Fremont County. We are especially passionate about youth programs and local charities, and you will often find our team participating in and sponsoring community events year-round.

Meet Our Team
Anthony Lowham, MD — Founder & Physician As a Wyoming native and longtime Lander resident, Dr. Lowham brings over 25 years of experience as a General Surgeon and a decade of specialized expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for both men and women. His firsthand understanding of this community’s healthcare needs inspired him to co-found Benessere Clinic alongside Sandee Lewis, DNP — creating a place where patients can achieve whole-body health and lasting vitality. Dr. Lowham is passionate about educating his patients and is continually inspired by the meaningful transformations he witnesses in their lives. And when it comes to health and wellness? He truly practices what he preaches — spending his time road cycling, lifting weights, and traveling with his wife.
Sandee Lewis, DNP — Co-Founder & Provider Dr. Sandee Lewis is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and a lifetime of roots right here in Fremont County. A co-founder of Benessere Clinic, Sandee brings remarkable depth of expertise across aesthetics, hormone therapy, and weight management. She has been honing her aesthetic skills since 2008 and is an advanced injector with extensive experience in neurotoxins and dermal fillers, a certified laser technician, and a body contouring specialist. Her doctoral capstone research focused on barriers and facilitators of weight loss in rural Wyoming — giving her unique, research-backed insight to guide patients on their weight loss journeys. She also has a longstanding passion for hormone replacement therapy, having provided BHRT services for both men and women for years, with a deep understanding of how balanced hormones are essential to overall health and well-being. A true Fremont County native, Sandee enjoys life with her close-knit family — sharing a love of volleyball, hunting, travel, and quality time together.
Jenny Wanner, RN / Aesthetician Born and raised right here in Lander, Jenny brings nearly 20 years of skincare expertise and a lifetime of community roots to Benessere Clinic. She earned her esthetics license in 2004 in Denver and her RN license in 2010, building a diverse nursing background in dialysis, psychiatric, and public health care before joining Benessere in 2021, where she pursued advanced training in cosmetic injections. Jenny is a results-driven skincare expert known for her gentle touch and artistic eye for age-appropriate, natural-looking results. She takes time to educate her clients, set realistic expectations, and build personalized treatment plans that enhance each patient’s natural beauty. When she’s not at the clinic, Jenny loves backpacking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and kids.
Elizabeth Kraestner — Aesthetician & Client Representative Elizabeth brings over 6 years of results-driven skincare experience to Benessere Clinic, specializing in advanced treatments including laser, microneedling, and acne care. A certified laser technician, she has an impressive background spanning esthetician school, advanced skin training, teaching esthetics, and directing education — always focused on delivering real, visible results. She offers lashes, lasers, facials, and more, and can be found at the Riverton clinic Mondays & Fridays. Elizabeth may be new to Fremont County — arriving just over a year ago — but she has already made her mark in a big way. A true jack of all trades, she is the only female firefighter on the Lander Volunteer Fire Department. When she’s not at the clinic or the firehouse, you’ll find her hiking and hunting in the mountains with her boyfriend and dogs. We are so glad she found her way to Wyoming!
Ashley Eckley — Clinical Aesthetician Ashley is a Wyoming-licensed Esthetician who completed her training at Central Wyoming College, inspired by her passion for helping others improve and maintain their health, wellness, and natural beauty. She has furthered her education through advanced aesthetics courses at the Aesthetic Next Conference in Dallas, TX (2022) and the International Spa and Aesthetics Conference in West Palm Beach, FL (2023), and holds a certification in Mastering Skin Conditions. She specializes in Microneedling and Chemical Peels. Ashley has called Fremont County home her entire life — all 34 years! Outside the clinic, she’s a woman of many talents: singing with her band locally, working in graphic design, and traveling across the country to cheer on her daughter in competitive dance. She is passionate about fitness and loves soaking up Wyoming’s great outdoors with her family through gardening, camping, and fishing.
Emily Burke — Clinical Aesthetician Emily is a Wyoming-licensed Esthetician who completed her aesthetics training at the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics in Tempe, Arizona, and went on to earn certification as a Cosmetic Laser Technician. Driven by a genuine compassion for others, Emily is dedicated to educating her clients about skincare and helping them feel confident and well. She specializes in acne-focused treatments and has a deep passion for skincare ingredients and product formulations. Her services include customized facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and DiamondGlow. Born and raised in Lander, Emily is happy to be back home, where she lives with her husband Jonah and their dog Everlee. She loves the ever-evolving nature of the aesthetics field and is committed to continuous learning to bring her clients the very best in skincare.
Skye Bentley — Clinical Administrator Skye has been a proud Fremont County resident for 23 years and is the friendly, organized force that keeps Benessere running smoothly behind the scenes. She has a deep love for all things horses — from riding to exploring the backcountry on horseback. Lately, she has embraced a new adventure: hunting. Skye embodies the true Wyoming spirit in everything she does.
Lisa Lowham — Project Manager Lisa is the heart behind much of what happens at Benessere behind the scenes. She and her husband Tony married in 1992 and together raised four boys in Wyoming. With their children now grown, Lisa cherishes time with her grandchildren and looks forward to traveling, gardening, hiking, and making lasting memories with her family. Her dedication and warmth are reflected in the welcoming culture she helps build at Benessere every day.
