The 7th Annual Wyoming Outdoor Weekend & Expo will be held outside the Lander Community & Convention Center Saturday, May 22 from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. Before then, however, beginning May 1st and leading up to the 22nd will be a Virtual Shop Local Raffle to stimulate the local economy. With The WOW growing in popularity each year, the Shop Local Raffle has injected tens of thousands of dollars into local businesses in recent years, so we encourage you to take advantage of this initiative!
How Does The WOW Virtual Shop Local Raffle Work?
Beginning Saturday, May 1st, shoppers will be encouraged to purchase local goods and services and submit their receipts in return for a raffle entry for every $10 spent with a Lander business up to $500 (excluding fuel and grocery purchases) for a max total of 50 raffle entries. Details on how to submit receipts and when the drawings will begin are available here.
How Can My Business Get Involved?
- Spread the word about the raffle! Many attractive prizes have been donated by local businesses to attract more entries in the raffle — which attracts more money to your business!
- Display the WOW 2021 Flyer in your place business or on your website/social media page
- Have a WOW Sale! Let your customers know that every $10 they spend with you will get them an entry in the WOW Shop Local Raffle! (If they submit their receipts.)
- Donate a prize for the raffle: the more great prizes, the more entries!
